White paint can be challenging due to different undertones in each color. Because of this, we highly recommend you purchase a small sample size can from the paint store and test an area on your wall to see how it looks. You may find it looks different on your walls than on your friend's home and that is to be expected. Different amounts of natural and artificial light can change the way a paint color looks. Paints can also pick up the colors in your home and work to your advantage if it's the right pairing. We tell you this not to overwhelm you but to make sure you know what to look out for.
When it comes to trim paint, we like the white to be more of a true bright white. Our white choices for walls are typically a few shades darker than the trim so that way you can see a nice contrast between the walls and the trim. This is important to keep in mind when you're choosing your wall color. You might be thinking your wall color isn't white enough but when it's painted on the walls, it will read brighter than you think.
While this may sound a bit complicated, we really believe at least one of the 5 whites we listed are sure to be a good fit for your home. If you still don't feel confident, you can give the Studio a call and we will be glad to help you find the perfect color for your home!
